OCT 20, 2025 - ALL SERVICES INTO THE UNITED STATES HAS BEEN RESUMED FROM AUSTRALIA, ........U.S. TARRIF COSTS HAVE MADE POSTAGE CHARGES ALMOST DOUBLE ON MANY ITEMS & SOME ITEMS INCREASE HIGH.
NEW TARRIF COSTS WILL BE AN INCREASE OF UP TO 100% ON PREVIOUS POSTAGE RATES THOUGH. THE U.S. GOVT APPROVED SERVICE CHARGES TWO LEVELS OF SERVICE FEES PER TRANSACTION (YEAH THEM) PLUS THE COUNTRY TARRIF COSTS DECIDED BY THE U.S. GOVT.
TARRIF COSTS ARE WORKED OUT ON THE COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE, NOT WHAT COUNTRY YOU GET ITEMS POSTED FROM! UNLIKE SOME AMERICAN NEWS AGENCIES CLAIM!!
UNTIL I CAN WORK A MANAGEBLE ADD-ON WE MUST ADD TARRIF COSTS AFTER PURCHASE SO THERE MAY BE ANOTHER FEE TO PAY.
TARRIF COSTS ARE WORKED OUT AS BELOW;
ORIGINAL COST OF ITEM & COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE + U.S. TARRIF COSTS + 3% ITEM COST SERVICE FEE + $2 PER PACKAGE SERVICE FEE
*These costs are all outside of our control & we do not make anything on these costs*
SO an item that costs $100 AUD is made in Australia is a 10% tarrif = $10 + 3% = $3 + $2 per package SUB TOTAL $15+ TARRIF FEES ON TOP OF THE ORIGINAL POSTAGE CHARGES. Other European countries tarrifs are manily around 30-40% all countries fees are fluid & can change weekly at the behest of Mr Trump.
All U.S. Made items & Printed material (books etc) are free from tarrif costs but still get charged the service fee of $2 for processing. All these fees are outside of my control
NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT SORRY. - THESE NEW TARRIFS ARE ABOVE & BEYOND ANY SALES TAXES ALREADY PAID, EBAY, AMAZON ETC ALL HAVE TO IMPOSE THESE HS TARRIF CODES ALSO
